Aurora Police Headquarters and Branch Courts - LEED for New Construction 2.2 Gold​​ certified on 12/01/2010.​ 

In addition to implementing the LEED certification and framework program during construction, the police headquarters plan includes various green design features comprising of the installment of photovoltaics, water efficient landscaping, and at the time, new waste water techniques. In regard​ to water usage, the design of the building intends to use 30% less water and 27% less energy than a building of similar sizing.​​

Batavia Office Technical and Education Building - LEED for New Construction 2009 Gold certified on 03/11/2015.

Batavia Office Technical and Education Building has earned six out of six possible points for innovation in design by using an energy efficient design, implementing water use reduction strategies, and enhancing indoor environmental quality. The site further reflects LEED standards for a sustainable site with efforts to reduce light pollution, to protect the natural habitat, and maximize open space.

East Dundee Police Department ​- LEED for New Construction 2009 Gold​ certified on 11/07/2016.

​​​East Dundee Police Department has earned LEED ​​​gold certification with the inclusion of green features such as the installation of solar panels and the re-use of previous building materials and insulation. The new police facility ori​ginally was where the ​East D​undee Fire ​Department resided. When they relocated to their new fire station, the 1950s fire facility was able to be repurposed for the police department.

Elgin Gail Borden Public Library - LEED for New Construction 2.2 Gold​​ certified on 11/12/2009.

The Rakow Branch earned LEED gold certification with impressive mechanisms such as the geothermal well system that responds to the earth's constant temperature that contributes to the Library's green efforts. The building was designed so that 75% of the occupied space has natural daylighting. Surrounding the building are drought-resistant native plants and grasses and rainwater management systems that the need to irrigate the gardens surrounding the building.

Pingree Grove Police Facility - LEED for Ne​w Construction 2.2 Silver certified on 07/06/2009. 

Pingree Grove Police Facility has earned LEED silver certification where they performed exceptionally well in ​categories, ​Indoor ​Environmental Quality and ​Water Efficiency. The facility is outfitted with an energy efficient mechanical system that saves 23% of energy costs. Solar and wind energy provide 70% of the building's total annual energy usage. After construction, the site generated 80 tons of waste that was diverted away from landfills. ​

South Elgin Fox River Water Reclamation District (FRWRD) Administrative​ Office Building - LEED for New Construction 2009 Silver certified on 12/02/2013.

South Elgin's Fox River Water Reclamation District Administrative Building attained its silver rating in LEED certification where they excelled in the ​Indoor Environmental Quality category through using low-emitting materials and designing an efficient thermal control system. ​​​​​​

St. Charles Environmental Education Center -LEED for New Construction 2009 certified on 10/13/2020.

The​ Hickory Knolls Discovery Center is a facility built with numerous green techniques that led to its LEED certification. It is equipped with geo-thermal heating system that reduced energy costs. The facility reduced water usage by over 30%. The parking and patio areas are permeable pavement that allows for the filtration of rain water and the absorption of runoff by plants. The building reused existing materials from the old property along with using low-emission paints and adhesives to improve indoor air quality. ​​​
