The following is an alphabetized list of electronic items that are accepted by the Kane County Recycle Program at Recycling Centers and/or events.

• Air fryers - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee Recycling Centers, pop-up events and large events - please clean out any/all food residue
  

• Air purifiers - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee Recycling Centers, pop-up events and large events
  

• Batteries (loose) - accepted at Fabyan recycling center only, and at events where noted (see event listings​). See our Batteries Page for more info.
  

• Blenders - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - please discard glass goblets before bringing
  

• Blu-ray players - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - ​Blu-ray discs not accepted
  

• Cable boxes - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events
  

• Cameras - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events
  

• CD players - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - CD discs not accepted

• Light duty lawn and yard care appliances (electric) - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events
  

• Microwaves - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - please discard glass turntables before bringing

• Modems - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events
  

• Monitors - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - there is a fee for peripheral monitors at all sites and events. Fee is $25 for screens <21" diagonal and $35 for screens 21" and larger

• Paper shredders - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events

• Space heaters (electric) - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​ - we are unable to accept oil-filled heaters
  

• Stereos and small speakers - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​ - ​we are unable to accept speakers made of wood/MDF

• Tablets - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events ​
  

• Toasters/​toaster ovens - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​ - please clean out any/all food residue

• Televisions - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - there is a fee for TVs at all sites and events. Fee is $25 for screens <21" diagonal and $35 for screens 21" and larger. Fee is the same for all technology types.

• Universal Power Supplies ​(powering home electronics) - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​ - large basement back-up systems not accepted
  

• Vacuum cleaners & carpet cleaners - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​ - please discard all collected debris

• VCRs - accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events ​- VHS tapes not accepted

• Video game consoles - ​​accepted at LRS Elburn, Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events - video game discs and cartridges not accepted
  

• Video game controllers - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​
  

• Wire and cabling - accepted at Fabyan and West Dundee recycling centers, pop-up events and large events​
