Kane County's suite of plans:​ 2040 Plan, 2012-2016 Community Health Improvement Plan, 2040 Transportation Plan, and Fit Kids 2020 Plan - propose vision and direction for the Kane County Board and the County's 30 municipalities to plan for growth and to improve our quality of life. These plans are part of the Quality of Kane initiative, which is responding to the challenges facing our community by integrating land use, transportation and health planning efforts under the Kane County Planning Cooperative. It reaffirms the County's commitment to Healthy People, Healthy Living and Healthy Communities so that Kane County can continue to hold promise and opportunities for our future generations.
